Your favourite wines are going to cost you less at the SAQ—at some point.
The SAQ is continuing to slash prices on its most popular wines, according to the Crown corporation's president, Alain Brunet.
At a luncheon hosted by the Canadian Club of Montreal on Montreal, Brunet wouldn't specify when the next price cut is coming, or how big it will be.
Over the past three years, prices on the 1,600 most popular wines sold at the SAQ have had been slashed by $1.40 per bottle.
