A regional jet carrying around 70 people has reportedly crashed in Moscow after taking off from Domodedovo Airport in the Russian capital. Media reports are indicating the plane crashed in the Ramensky District of Moscow, to the north of the airport.
Various reports have cited unidentified sources, including one from who told the Interfax News Agency there was "no chance" anyone survived. Conflicting reports have claimed that either 68 or 71 people were onboard the An-148 regional jet flown by Saratov Airlines. Six of the people onboard were crewmembers.
Russia's Emergencies Ministry sent a crew to the reported crash-site, and confirmed shortly afterward that the aircraft had crashed, adding that fragments of the plane were found onsite.
