One of the four suspects arrested last weekend for a string of violent robberies in homes and businesses in the Montreal area is a convicted murderer who isn't supposed to be in Canada.
43-year old James Craigwell was deported to Barbados in 2012, immediately after serving time for the murder of a 22-year old during a robbery in 1994.
La Presse says Craigwell snuck back into Canada using the passport belonging to his brother.
Craigwell and his three co-accused are suspected of at least 14 robberies since February, including one which occurred while they were being tailed by police last weekend.
