Transport Quebec is out with its list of roadwork-related road closures for the Montreal area — though some of that work may be cancelled because of the stormy weather we're expecting.
As is usually the case, the Turcot is one of those trouble spots to avoid.
Starting at 11:59 p.m. Friday night, the ramp from Highway 20 eastbound to the 15 south (toward the Champlain Bridge) will be closed until 5 a.m. on Monday — and so will the section of the 15 that carries on to the Bonaventure Expressway.
Meanwhile, only one lane will be available for motorists going north on Highway 15, from Exit 63 through to the Decarie Expressway.
The westbound Ville-Marie tunnel will be a no-go zone for the weekend — the highway will be closed between exit 5 and the Turcot, while the eastbound Ville-Marie will be closed between the Atwater exit and De La Cathedrale St.
And further north, the ramp from westbound Highway 40 to the southbound Decarie Expressway is also scheduled to be off limits all weekend.
