If you're planning on driving in and around town this weekend there are a couple areas you'll want to avoid.
From Friday at 11:30 P.M. to Monday at 5:00 A.M. Highway 20 eastbound from the 138 off ramp over to Angrignon Blvd. is closed due to work on the Turcot Interchange.
You'll be detoured onto Notre-Dame, then use Angrignon to get back on to the 20.
Your time on the 20 will be short lived, as it's connection to the Ville-Marie east downtown is closed from Friday 11:59 P.M. to Monday at 5:00 A.M.
Decarie south toward the Ville Marie east is going to be shut down during the same time frame; both detours will take you downtown via the Bonaventure Expressway.
As for the bridges getting on or off the island, both directions of the Jacques-Cartier Bridge will be off-limits to motorists from Friday at 11:59 P.M. to Saturday at 4:00 A.M. and the again the following night for the same four hour stretch.
One of two lanes on the southbound side of the structure will also be closed both days from 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.
The Mercier Bridge will be reduced to one lane in both directions from Saturday 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., while only one lane on the southbound side will be closed during the same time frame on Sunday.
