Here is a list of the major roadwork scheduled for the Montreal-area this weekend:
The big one will be the ramp connecting the westbound Ville Marie Expressway to Highway 15 south will close at 10:30 P.M. Friday and remain closed until 2019.
Just before midnight the de la Vérendrye entrance to Highway 15 southbound will also close until 2019.
Also to keep in mind, traffic leaving the westbound Ville Marie tunnel will be diverted onto the lower Route 136 in the coming weeks. The elevated westbound Ville Marie will then be demolished.
Sometime in December the consortium behind the Turcot rebuild will rearrange some ramps and will open a new connection from Highway 15 north to Highway 20 west.
Some short term closures will also cause some trouble for motorists this weekend.
Highway 15 south will be closed completely from the Turcot Interchange to the Gaétan-Laberge Blvd. entrance from 11:59 P.M. Friday to 5:00 A.M. Monday.
The ramp connecting Highway 20 east to Highway 15 south will be off limits from Friday at 10:30 P.M. to Monday at 5:00 A.M.
Highway 15 north will have one lane available between St-Patrick St./Atwater (Exit 61) and the Turcot Interchange from Friday at 10:00 P.M. to Monday at 5:00 A.M.
The Atwater exit (2) on Route 136 (new Ville Marie) east will close Friday at 11:59 P.M. to Monday at 5:00 A.M.
During the overnight hours Friday into Saturday the Jacques-Cartier Bridge will have just one lane open in either direction.
