There was a tornado in Quebec on Wednesday during that vicious rain storm that left a trail of destruction.
It was a category 2 tornado in St Julien, near Thetford Mines, northwest of Montreal.
Wind speeds peaked at 220 kilometers per hour.
Environment Canada says anywhere between five to 10 per cent of the town's trees survived.
