A 57-year-old Catholic priest who worked in the West Island and TMR and found guilty earlier this month of sexually assaulting a boy has pleaded guilty in a similar case involving another boy that happened between 1995 and 1999.
Brian Boucher's second trial involving two victims was supposed to have started today.
In the first case, Boucher pleaded guilty to sexually touching and invitation to sexual touching. Two other charges - one of which involved another boy - were granted a conditional stay.

The second victim testifed in the first trial in November about being similarly sexually assaulted by Boucher at a church in LaSalle and in motels.
The victim in that trial was sexually assaulted by Boucher between 2008 and 2011 in TMR. Boucher had denied the allegations.
"Having the plea entered, I think will be a relief for the complainants in this case, the survivors of sexual abuse - not having to testify and to be put through a trial in this matter," said crown prosecutor Annabelle Sheppard.
Boucher faces sentencing in both cases in late March.
