Today's the day the price of gas takes another big jump in Montreal.
On Monday afternoon, some stations reported hiking the price of a litre of regular to 136.9 — up about 16 cents from where it was at most places on Monday morning.
As usual, the change is expected to happen gradually, one service station at a time. By Tuesday morning, it should have been made everywhere.
Gas prices usually spike on one day, and then decrease by a penny or two every day before the next spike in about another week or so.
