The Parti Quebecois's public security critic was forced to fire a political attaché recently, after discovering that the man's moonlighting may have put him into a conflict of interest.
MNA Pascal Berube says he knew the attaché performed with a heavy metal band but he wasn't aware the band had agreed to perform at a party over the summer for biker gangs affiliated with the Hells Angels.
The concert drew members of the Death Messengers, Bad Disciples and Dark Souls.
Berube says he was researching gang activity in Quebec, came across the poster for the concert and immediately fired the attaché.
He believes there was no leak of confidential documents.
