Montreal Police have released footage of four suspects investigators believe are behind a pair of fires deliberately set within a week at the same Plateau-Mont-Royal apartment last month.
The first blaze broke out at the apartment on Park Avenue near Prince-Arthur on October 22nd.
Police say it was lit by two suspects, both white males who concealed their faces with baseball caps and hooded sweatshirts. One had a beard and wore a Toronto Blue Jays sweatshirt. His cap had "Inter" and "Le choix des pros - La sécurité" written on it.
The second incident occurred October 29th, and this time two different suspects were caught on surveillance video. One is a white male who was wearing a black leather jacket, grey hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and white shoes. The second is a black male who was wearing a baseball cap with the word "Celtics" written on it, as well as a black jacket, black shirt, black jeans and black shoes.
In each case, an accelerant was placed on the carpet in front of the apartment and then lit. No one was inside the apartment during either fire.
