Provincial police are looking to speak with two people described as important witnesses of a double homicide that left a believed full-patch member of the Rock Machine biker gang dead in a secluded field of Vaudreuil-Dorion.
Vaudreuil man Richard Hunt, 38, and Mélanie Binette, 28, are being sought by the Sûreté du Québec for questioning in connection with the slayings of Joseph Fluet and Steven Lamarsh, whose bodies were found on Thursday in an open field behind two homes on Montée d’Alstonvale.
Fluet was alleged to have been a full-patch member of the Rock Machine Motorcycle Club when he was arrested by police in connection with an SQ raid in 2014. At the time, it was believed the Rock Machine gang was on the outs following a bloody war with the Hells Angels that ended a decade prior.
Police are describing Hunt and Binette as important witnesses, and will not say what their connection to the victims or the crime is.
Hunt could possibly be driving a 2011 Dodge Ram four-door pickup truck (pictured below) that is light gray, with the licence plate G54 MKS, according to a police news release.
