Montreal police say there may be other people out there who were victimized by a man they arrested last month in connection with a pair of recent armed sexual assaults.
Police arrested 32-year-old Tommy Williams on Jan. 25, in connection with assaults which took place in Montreal last Dec. 9 and Jan. 11. Williams appeared in court on Tuesday to face charges of armed sexual assault and aggravated assault.
He remains behind bars.
Police say they have reason to believe he committed other, similar assaults, and are calling on anyone who was a victim, or who may have other information, to get in touch with police — either by calling 9-1-1, or by visiting their local police station — to make a formal complaint.
