Montreal police have opened an investigation into what they're now calling the 22nd homicide of the year in Montreal.
At around 8:45 Monday morning, police were called out to an apartment building on Decarie Blvd. near NDG Ave.
They found a man injured inside. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were bullet holes in the door, but police will only say there were marks of violence on the body.
At the moment, police aren't hinting at whether this incident is somehow tied to a stabbing early Sunday on the same block. A 20-year-old man was sent to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
