The City of Pointe Claire has asked Transport Quebec to stop dragging it's feet on it's proposal to build a sound wall on the south side of Highway 20 between St John's and Sources.
Two years ago Transport Quebec agreed to study the feasability of such a wall, but nothing ever happened after that.
Pointe claire Mayor Morris Trudeau tells the Gazette that a recent council resolution asking the government to move on the issue is an offical reminder.
The cost of the study would be about $120,000 with Pointe-Claire and Quebec paying an equal share.
