A 78-year-old woman is in critical condition in hospital after being hit by a car in the downtown Ville Marie borough.
It happened at around 1:40 p.m. at the corner of de Maisonneuve east and Alexandre-de-Sève.
The woman was crossing de Maisonneuve heading north when she was hit. The driver turning on de Maisonneuve was going west.
The 90-year-old driver was treated for shock.
Investigators are looking into what exactly happened.
Meantime, Alexandre-de-Sève is closed between Logan and Ste-Catherine and de Maisonneuve is closed between Panet and Champlain.
