Health Canada is calling in the Paw Patrol and it has nothing to do with Mayor Humdinger and the Catastrophe Crew.
A recall involves a flashlight sold with a one of Marshall's fireman's hat. It features a yellow ribbon and dog ears.
The Nickelodeon Paw Patrol Deluxe Marshall Hat has a product SKU of 01292093 and date codes 1703RY01, 1603RY01, and 1503RY01.
According to the recall the flashlight that was supplied with the helmet may overheat, resulting in a fire and/or burn hazard.
As of January 17, 2018 there had been one reported incident in Canada and three in the United States.
There were a little over 1,500 affected Marshall hat's sold in Canada between September 2015 and November 2017.
They were manufactured in China.
If you own one of the affected hats you're being advised to immediately remove the batteries and stop using the flashlight accessory and should either dispose of the flashlight or contact Spirit Halloween for a refund.
