Road work being done this long weekend will mean it's going to be tough to get around parts of Montreal.
The last section of the St. Jacques St. Bridge will be torn down over the next couple of days, forcing the complete closure of all Decarie northbound lanes and ramps through the Turcot Interchange to Sherbrooke St. from Friday 10:00 P.M. to Tuesday 5:00 A.M.
If your travels take you downtown this Thanksgiving weekend, be warned, crews will be removing the sun-blocking paralumes that sit atop Highway 720 from St. Laurend Blvd. and St. Urbain St.
The work will shut down the Ville Marie Tunnel in both directions from 11:59 P.M. Friday to 5:00 A.M. Tuesday.
Drivers heading eastbound will have to get off at the de la Montagne St. exit/St. Jacques St. exit, while anyone going west can only get on the 720 at Lucien-L’Allier.
