The English Montreal School Board begins its registration process for the upcoming school year on Monday, and as of Sunday morning there were already parents lined up outside Royal Vale School hoping to snag a spot for their children.
The N.D.G. school continues to be in high demand, sought for its advanced programming in math and science.
It makes the school a popular draw, year after year, for parents looking to secure the best public education they believe they can for their children.
Dozens of moms, dads and guardians are expected to stay lined up outside the Somerled Ave. school until it opens Monday morning.
Some were seen bringing tents and building fires to stay warm—a good idea with on a night when the temperature drops by over 10 degrees within hours.
EMSB registration details are available on the board website.
