Former Montreal Canadiens defenceman P.K. Subban has severed another tie with the city.
His luxurious 1900 square foot Sherbrooke Street condominium in the Golden Square Mile district has been sold.
Real estate broker Joseph Montanaro says the buyer, from Europe, purchased the property for about $25,000 less than the asking price of $1,395,000.
La Presse reports Montanaro said that considering the renovations that Subban put into the property the transaction is a great deal.
Subban was traded to the Nashville Predators in exchange for Shea Webber in June.
Montanaro says he entertained three serious offers in the past several weeks.
Subban's mother negotiated the agreement on behalf of her son.
