Highway 40 westbound is closed indefinitely after a transport truck overturned and spilled its contents all over the road.
The incident happened near the Roi-René Blvd. exit in Anjou at about 9:30 A.M.
The truck was carrying asphalt, which covered the highway, along with some tools and other debris.

As of 10:30 A.M. traffic was backed up about five kilometers.
The driver of the truck was not hurt, but treated for shock.
Provincial police said the highway is closed indefinitely.
