A teenager is in custody following a street race in Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie.
Just before midnight, two cars appeared to be racing down Pie-IX Blvd. near Rachel St. when one struck two motorcycle riders: a 56-year-old man and a woman in her 50s.
They were transported to hospital. They are listed in stable condition and are expected to recover.
One of the drivers fled the scene. Police have no description of the vehicle being sought.
The second driver, an 18-year-old man, remained at the scene. He was arrested for dangerous driving when police arrived.
