While you may still be holding out on getting into the holiday spirit, it is never too early to start thinking about saving lives.
Opération Nez Rouge is looking for volunteers, with five days until the start of the organizations 33rd season.
This will be the longest campaign in the history of the service, running from November 25 to December 31. The extra week was added because organizers have noticed office parties are being held earlier and earlier each year.
Nez Rouge operates in 61 communities across Quebec, and 102 Canada-wide.
This year's campaign "Bringing you Home for the Holidays" wants to remind all motorists that calling a volunteer driver is the best way to get home if you've had a little too much holiday cheer.
If you'd like to help out, you can apply at the organizations website here.
Every year, about 40,000 volunteers get people home safe. Last year in Quebec there were 61,000 rides made.
