The old Royal Victoria Hospital appears to be falling into disrepair, according to a report in the Journal de Montreal.
A reporter said he was able to get in easily undetected and found: water infiltration in several areas with garbage cans set up to catch dripping water; smashed-in walls and ceilings; rusting equipment; mold on walls and ceilings; litter; and graffiti.
The hospital was closed three years ago after it moved to the Glen Yards site.
The MUHC told the newspaper that there are four security guards on site patrolling at least three times a day and that it would fix any problems once detected.
