The man who left his baby in a hot car in Saint Jerome won't face charges.
The nearly 1-year old boy died.
The announcement came from the Crown prosecutor's office.
Crown spokesperson Jean-Pascal Boucher said after a thorough analysis of the investigation, which was carried out by provincial police at the request of local counterparts, the Crown decided not to press charges, but didn't provide its reasons for doing so.
The incident happened August 17th as the man was heading to work.
He only realized what happened at the end of the day when he went to the daycare believing he had dropped off the child.
