As the holiday period heads into the final weekend, Operation Nez Rouge, the holiday service aimed at keeping drunk drivers off the roads, says it could use more volunteers.
Since 1984, Nez Rouge has given thousands of free rides to Quebecers who've had too much to drink while celebrating the holidays.
And this year is no different — they've given thousands of rides already, and they're looking for volunteers to help them get over that last stretch.
Yannick Trudel first volunteered with Nez Rouge in 1995. He tells CJAD 800 that it's a great and rewarding experience.
"You're always going to have a great story afterwards," said Trudel. "And that's why year after year we always go back. There's always something interesting that will happen in your night."
