You can now see a doctor up to 8:30 in the evening, seven days a week, at the Herzl clinic in Cote-des-Neiges.
It's been converted into a superclinic — one of 50 such clinics the Couillard Liberals are planning to open across Quebec as a way to ease sometimes overcrowded hospital emergency rooms.
Health minister Gaetan Barrette and Mont-Royal MNA Pierre Arcand were among those on hand Friday for the official opening of the 26th superclinic.
The clinic — just down the street from the Jewish General Hospital, at 5858 Cote-des-Neiges Rd. — will be staffed by doctors 84 hours a week, from 8:30 in the morning to 8:30 at night.
