Greater Montreal's commuter-rail and bus passengers will be able to get a hefty discount on their transit passes, if they get a new annual membership.
The new promotion comes from Exo, the new operator of regional transit services that was split off from the Agence métropolitaine de transport (AMT) last year. Under the limited-time offer, commuters who buy a 12-month OPUS+ pass will get the final two months for free. It's an extra month off the sticker price: the standard benefit of buying a full-year pass is one month free.
Commuters could find that their savings under the promotion could really add up: a subscriber to the TRAM3 pass would save $276.
To take advantage of the promotion, commuters can go to the RTM's website or visit a ticket kiosk.
