Montreal Liberal M-P Alexandra Mendes is calling a newly-released secret recording by former attorney general Jody Wilson-Raybould "horrendous.''
And she wants Wilson-Raybould and Jane Philpott to either resign from the party or be booted out of the Liberal caucus.
Mendes is questioning why they two would want to stay quote -- "where they're clearly not wanted.''
Wilson-Raybould recorded a phone call with the clerk of the Privy Council in which she claims her job was threatened if she didn't intervene in the criminal prosecution of Montreal engineering giant S-N-C-Lavalin.
Wilson-Raybould concedes the recording was an "extraordinary and otherwise inappropriate step.''
She has said she believes she was moved out of the justice portfolio to Veterans Affairs in a mid-January cabinet shuffle because she refused to intervene.
She later quit cabinet altogether.
