A 20-year-old woman was handed a stack of tickets yesterday after she was clocked doing 180 km/h in a 70 zone.
She was pulled over Wednesday afternoon on Highway 30 in the south shore community of St. Roch sur Richelieu, about midway between Montreal and Trois-Rivières.
Police say the 20-year old woman didn't have the proper motorcycle license and is charged with dangerous driving and refusing to pull over for patrol officers because she tried to evade their traffic stop.
She ended up stopping rather abruptly when her bike flew off the road as she rounded a curve.
She wasn't hurt, but she was handed $2,024 in fines, along with 24 demerit points.
