A Crown motion to unseal warrants related to the police spying of a newspaper reporter has won Quebec court approval.
The journalist is Patrick Lagacé of La Presse.
He's also a CJAD 800 contributor.
A hearing is scheduled for December 2nd where it's expected the Crown will be asked to submit more than 120 warrants to the media.
The newspaper wants to review them beforehand to see if there's any information which would reveal sources.
A number of media outlets intervened to gain access to the warrants, including CTV News.
