A Montreal woman is suing Uber for $100,000 alleging one of its drivers brutally beat her up.
In the lawsuit, Jessica Cherry Goldberg said she started to film the Uber driver when he started insulting her and that's when the alleged attack began.
Goldberg claims he punched her, knocked her to the ground and kicked her repeatedly in the stomach.
The lawsuit said three friends were with her at the time - one of them filming told him not to touch their stuff and he can be seen in one video reaching out and hitting the phone camera at which point the filming ends.
Goldberg said in the lawsuit she suffered injuries to her neck and face and spent a night in hospital.
The lawsuit said Goldberg still "suffers from humiliation, fear and anguish."

Goldberg said she filed a complaint with police the same day.
In an email statement to CJAD 800 News, Uber Quebec would only say it's taken "immediate and appropriate measures."
The lawsuit is addressed to Uber Canada because Uber Quebec won't reveal the driver's name for privacy and legal reasons.
It also said "it would give out the information if police ask for it" and also "provided the plaintiff with the information she needs to get the necessary information."
Goldberg's lawyers declined interviews on behalf of themselves and their client.
