A young Montreal speed skater is turning to the public for help, after some very personal items were stolen over the weekend.
Christopher Fiola took to social media after his home was burgled Saturday and his three silver medals were among the items stolen.
Fiola won the medals at the World Junior Championships in China this year.
Along with the medals, the thieves stole his parents' wedding rings, as well as rings that once belonged to Fiola's grandparents.
The 20-year-old long track speed skater and Canadian Olympic hopeful is asking anyone with information to contact him through Facebook.
