Environment Canada says Montreal may be hit with our first snowfall of the season on Sunday.
"A low pressure system from Colorado will reach Northwestern Quebec Saturday afternoon before slowly moving eastward on Sunday and Monday," reads a statement on the Environment Canada website. "The rain will gradually change to snow Sunday morning over Western Quebec and Sunday evening over central areas."
It says driving conditions will be more difficult, especially if you don't have your winter tires on yet. They're not mandatory until December 15th.
Environment Canada says the commute to work on Monday could be difficult. And things could be even worse, with the Monday morning closure of the eastbound Ville-Marie expressway.
But, it says the track of the low pressure system is still uncertain and that could have a significant impact on precipitation type and amounts.
