A Montreal born actor has joined in the global effort to put an end to the sexual harassment of women.
Patrick Sabongui applauds the women who have come forward, calling them courageous.
He tells CJAD 800's Aaron Rand that more people need to speak out and report sexual misconduct.
Sabongui says he wanted to do his part and created the social media phrase, #NotOnMyWatch, to encourage witnesses to come forward and denounce the harassment.
He says it's been getting a lot of support, but is disappointed that not a lot of men seem to be joining the campaign.
"A lot of women are commenting and I've got to be honest, not a whole lot of dudes are commenting," he says.
Sabongui says it's important to keep the conversation going about sexual harassment of women.
