On March 12, Robert Albert was reportedly on his way to a restaurant when his car was struck headon—and he lost his life.

A 25-year-old Île-Perrot woman has been accused of impaired driving and several other charges in a fatal head-on collision back in March at the entrance to the Jacques-Bizard Bridge, which left a 60-year-old man dead.

Marie-Michele Benjamin faces a total of six charges including impaired driving causing the death of Robert Albert.

On March 12, Albert was reportedly on his way to a restaurant when his car was struck head-on by a vehicle at the entrance to the Jacques-Bizard Bridge, near Cherrier St.

Investigators reported Benjamin's car traveled over the median line before colliding with Albert's.

Benjamin appears in court later this week.
