After more than a month on the lam, Lady the Python has been located.
Animal control officials in Verdun confirmed on Monday afternoon that the missing four-foot royal python has been located.
Lady escaped from her owner's home near 1st. Ave. and Willibrord St. in Verdun at the end of August. The owner apparently did not have a locked terrarium for the snake.
The snake is not dangerous to humans.
It's unclear what will happen to Lady. A bylaw banning pythons exists in Verdun, so it is unlikely Lady will be returned to her owner.
