Two adults and a child were taken to hospital with minor injuries after their schoolbus crashed into another vehicle on Papineau near the Jacques Cartier Bridge.
It happened at around 9:30 a.m. near Ontario.
The yellow schoolbus hit the back of a cube van that had braked suddenly to allow a firetruck responding to a call to pass through the intersection on Ontario heading west. The firetruck had its sirens and flashing lights on.
The hood of the bus' engine was knocked off.
The 45-year-old bus driver along with another adult and a child on the bus were slightly injured and transported to hospital. Police could not provide any other ages.
Another schoolbus arrived to transport the rest of the children.
The transport company is investigating.
