He may not be putting pucks in the net or help the Canadiens make the playoffs, but he's still a good boy.
Meet Flambo, he's two feet tall and weighs about 30 pounds and is the newest member of the Montreal Canadiens franchise. The service dog in training was adopted by the Habs organization last month.

“We went and got him early December, he was nine weeks old,” Genevieve Paquette, the team’s Vice President of Community Engagement told CTV Montreal. "We’ve been keeping him low key for the first month, because he’s the baby, and you have to be careful that he gets the rest he needs and doesn’t get too excited."
The Saint-Pierre Labernese puppy will be fostered by the organization for a year until he is ready to go to work full time as a service dog for the MIRA foundation.
“You have to keep in mind the person who will receive that dog is a person looking for more autonomy or accessibility – so the dog becomes a tool for that person to be more independent,” Paquette said. “It’s going to be work for the dog.”
