What started as a fender bender ended with a stabbing in a high traffic area of downtown Thursday.
According to police, at about 4:20 P.M., a man in his 40s hit a parked car on Peel St. south of Ste-Catherine St.
A verbal confrontation ensued between the two drivers and the small scuffle ended when the second driver stabbed the victim in the stomach.
The suspect, a black man in his 40s, fled the scene. He has not been found.
The victim was rushed to hospital with serious injuries, though he is in stable condition.
