Laval police said they hope the public can help find a man who recently assaulted a woman.
It happened early in the morning on January 9th on 2nd Ave. near Désaulniers Street in the city's Fabreville district.
The victim said she was grabbed from behind, hit in the face and shoved into a snow bank.
The attacker then tried to rip her clothes off, but she fought back and fled.
The suspect is described as a white, in his 50s, five feet 10, and roughly 165 pounds.
He was wearing a small, dark wool cap, dark coat and black gloves and boots.
As well, he has a scar under his left eye.
Anyone with information in the case is asked to call 9-1-1.
