Montreal police are looking for at least one suspect following an attempted murder in Côte-des-Neiges-N.D.G. overnight.
At about 1:25 A.M. residents on Hampton Ave. near Upper Lachine Road were awoken to the sound of multiple gunshots.
When officers arrived at the scene they found a vehicle with multiple bullet holes. The car's driver side door was open and no one was inside.
Not long after police found a man in his 20s with gunshot wounds to his lower body on nearby Regent Ave. He was taken to hospital in stable condition and is expected to recover.
For the moment police do not have an accurate description of the suspect. The K-9 unit was brought in to help with the search.
