Montreal police now say the prime suspect in a murder back in May outside the Amazones strip club in NDG also tried to kill a man linked to the mafia last February.
According to police, Frederick Silva and ten others entered a restaurant in Terrebonne and opened fire, hitting Salvatore Scoppa twice.
Scoppa reportedly fled on foot; police say he has ties to the mafia and was investigated for the disappearances of two men, who still haven't been heard from four years later.
The 36-year-old Silva is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for the murder of Daniel Somoza-Gildea, killed in the parking lot of the NDG strip club.
He is a white male with several tattoos (pictured below), standing about 1.75 metres (5'9") tall and weighing 88 kilograms (194 lbs).
