A Montrealer who somehow managed to sculpt a likeness of a car out of a snowbank after last weekend's 36-centimetre snow dump has received plenty of attention online in recent days.
Simon Laprise wanted to pull a prank on snow removal crews by carving the likeness of a sportscar into a mound of snow on a residential street in Montreal North.
It caught the attention of Montreal police, who left a note —which looked like a parking ticket — on the car's "windshield", reading, "You made our evening HAHAHAHAHA ;)".
Laprise responded on his Facebook page, "no, no...you made MY night!"
According to his page, Laprise specializes in "3D drawings" and "useable art".
