Imagine meeting a major NHL player while skating around near your house.
That's what happened to Guillaume Ouimet when he met Sidney Crosby last month in Mont Tremblant.
Ouimet, a Midget AA hockey player, was practicing at his local rink during a quiet morning when the NHL superstar appeared.
Ouimet, 19, remarked that if he had gone home earlier as he planned at the time, he would have missed Crosby.

The Pittsburgh Penguins player was on vacation with his girlfriend, Ouimet said.
The Mont Tremblant resident said he went up to Crosby once he recognized him and introduced himself. Crosby asked him if he was alone and when that was confirmed, the two started skating and doing drills together for about an hour.
Ouimet said it wasn't just about hockey - the two chatted and asked questions about each other, "like friends."
Ouimet described Crosby as down-to-earth and a gentleman.
Ouimet said he showed Crosby inside the sports arena near the rink. Ouimet said Crosby sat for a bit and appeared to be lost in nostalgia.
Ouimet said he was shocked by the whole experience that he'll "remember for the rest of his life."
