If you've got a couple of million bucks lying around, you could be the proud owner of Max Pacioretty's luxury home in Brossard.
The Montreal Canadiens captain moved into the custom-built home five years ago. Now, the asking price for it is $1.988 million.
Real-estate agent Joseph Montanaro says while the home is big, the Habs' No. 67 has his sights set on something bigger.
"The couple is pregnant with their third child, and Mrs. Pacioretty is expecting sometime in the summer," Montanaro says. "While the house is pretty large, they want something slightly bigger."
Montanaro says the Paciorettys have their eyes on a couple of other places, but aren't anywhere near ready yet to close the deal on a new pad.
In the meantime, their current home, located in the exclusive Domaines de la Rive-Sud neighborhood, is quite a lovely place.
"What do you get for $2 million? You're getting a recently-built home," Montanaro says. "It was custom-built by the couple in 2012. You get four bedrooms upstairs, four bathrooms, two family rooms, a completely finished basement with a really spectacular wine cellar, a two-car garage, and 16-thousand square feet of land."
Montanaro also brokered the sale of P.K. Subban's downtown condo, which he ended up selling for close to $1.4 million, and Celine Dion's multi-million dollar chateau on a private island in Laval.
