Longueuil police are looking for witnesses of a hit-and-run that sent a 91-year-old woman to hospital last Sunday.
According to investigators, on January 13 at about 5:30 P.M., the elderly woman was struck by a dark-coloured vehicle while she was walking in an IGA parking lot on Victoria Avenue in Saint-Lambert.
Police say the man then parked his vehicle, got out and noticed he hit the woman then quickly jumped back into the vehicle and fled the scene.
The woman suffered injuries to her legs and is expected to recover.
The driver is described by police as being a white man between 40 and 50-years-old.
Investigators believe there were witnesses in the parking lot at the time of the accident and would like to speak with anyone who may have information related to the case.
