In a collection of poems crafted in the final months of his life, Leonard Cohen put pen to paper to lay the smack down on Kanye West.
"The Flame" was published on October 2; it's billed as the final volume of poems, lyrics and illustrations by the Montreal native.
One of the poems, dated March 15, 2015, is titled "Kanye West is Not Picasso."
The piece takes aim at the hip-hop star, who is known for his boastful behaviour, after he once declared onstage "I am Picasso."
West has also compared himself to (or called himself): Steve Jobs, Walt Disney, Michael Jordan, Maya Angelou, Andy Warhol, Shakespeare, God, and Willy Wonka.
"Kanye West is not Picasso. I am Picasso," Cohen wrote. "Kanye West is not Edison. I am Edison. I am Tesla."
The poem also takes a shot at rapper Jay-Z all while including a couple expletives.
"I am the Kanye West Kanye West thinks he is."
Poems in the book are said to have been handpicked and ordered by Cohen himself before he died in November 2016.
