An elderly Laval woman is complaining about condo tower going up beside her home.
80-year old Hughette Gagné-Leclair is quoted in the Journal de Montreal saying the house shakes, adding there's construction noise from 7 in the morning until 9 at night, even on Saturdays.
The 26-storey tower's said to be going up on Levesque Blvd east in Chomedy and work began a few weeks ago.
Dozens of other area residents have also complained about the residential project.
The city of Laval says construction of the condo complex, named Equinoxe, is following municipal norms, adding its height was approved before a limit of 15 storeys was put in place.
Gagné-Leclair has lived inthe same home for over 50 years.
