Laval police are investigating an attempted murder that sent two people to hospital Sunday.
Officers were called to a home on Dagenais Blvd., near René-Laennec at about 5:00 P.M.
Outside the house police found a man with stab wounds to his neck. Inside they located an unconscious woman with unspecified injuries.
Both were taken to hospital in critical condition, their ages are unknown.
Investigators are trying to determine what led to the incident, adding it is still too early to determine their relationship and cannot say if it was a domestic dispute.
